Course Description
Who Should Attend:Experienced Child Support Enforcement (CSE) staff.
Overview and Focus:This one-day course provides instruction in medical support issues, which are one of the Federal performance incentive measures.
Topics Addressed:- HIPAA
- Federal policies on medical support
- Establishment of medical support orders
- Enforcement of medical support orders, including suggested practices and handling of medical contempt cases
- National Medical Support Notice
- Correct processing in PACSES to count medical support actions properly for performance incentives
- Public insurance programs available in the state

Course Level
200 Level These courses provide instruction on emerging issues, new policies, and policy updates. In addition, the courses provide advanced instruction in specific subject areas relating to each of the child support enforcement (CSE) case management processes. The courses vary in length from one to three days and are designed for more experienced CSE staff.
