Course Description
Who Should Attend:Child Support Enforcement (CSE) workers interested in learning more about the Expanded Federal Parent Locator Service (EFPLS) and some of the basic processing that takes place within it.
Overview and Focus:This one-day course provides CSE workers with information on noncustodial parents (NCP), putative fathers, and custodial parents (CP).
Topics Addressed:- The legislation that created the EFPLS as it exists today
- The components that make up the EFPLS
- How the Pennsylvania Child Support Enforcement System (PACSES) interacts with the EFPLS
- How the Federal Case Registry (FCR) and the National Directory of New Hires (NDNH) function within the EFPLS
- Various Social Security Number verification processes

Course Level
200 Level These courses provide instruction on emerging issues, new policies, and policy updates. In addition, the courses provide advanced instruction in specific subject areas relating to each of the child support enforcement (CSE) case management processes. The courses vary in length from one to three days and are designed for more experienced CSE staff.
