Intrastate 101 Online
Course Description
Who Should Attend:This program is intended for all Child Support Enforcement (CSE) workers who process cases involving other counties within Pennsylvania and need an understanding of the Intrastate Family Support Act (IFSA) and venue rules.
Overview and Focus:CSE workers are faced with managing cases that involve other counties within Pennsylvania. To handle these cases effectively, CSE workers must understand the regulations, statutes, and rules, as well as Pennsylvania Child Support Enforcement System (PACSES) processing. This course is designed to help the Domestic Relations Section (DRS) worker understand the Intrastate policy and procedures that will help him/her to identify the best way to proceed when processing cases where at least one party lives in another county within Pennsylvania.
Course Competencies:- Determine the county in which a court has venue.
- Determine whether a support case should be local or intrastate.
- Process an intrastate case as the initiating county.
- Process an intrastate case as the responding county.
- Process a local case.

100-Level Online
These courses provide in-depth instruction on each of the case management processes (i.e. Case Initiation, Locate, Paternity Establishment, Financials, Enforcement, Case Closure, etc.) used in the Title IV-D Child Support Enforcement (CSE) Program. The courses allow the participant to work at their own pace using case studies. The courses are designed for less experienced CSE staff who require additional knowledge and understanding of individual CSE topics. The training is also appropriate for cross-training personnel in more than one CSE area of expertise.
Working With the Military in Child Support Matters
This course focuses on how to work efficiently and effectively with military personnel, using procedures and methods consistent with the Federal and State statutes, regulations, and rules that govern military child support matters and the Title IV-D Child Support Enforcement (CSE) Program
