Elizabeth worked in Domestic Relations for seven years with the Allegheny County Family Division. As a Domestic Relations Officer for three of those years, she gained extensive knowledge regarding the establishment, modification, and enforcement of support orders.
In 1996, Elizabeth accepted a position with a consulting firm and conducted various healthcare audits, data analysis, and evaluation of systems operations. Elizabeth returned to the Allegheny County Family Division in 1998 where she was promoted and served four years as Financial Group Supervisor. In this role, Elizabeth was responsible for financial reports, adjustments, local and UIFSA audits, conversion errors, held-payment issues, over-the-counter collections and submissions, escrow and electronic-funds set up, receipt reversals, certification of lien searches, and various county budget issues. In addition, Elizabeth worked with a committee to establish and implement case closure and administrative review procedures. Elizabeth served as Supervisor of the case closure unit.
